Work with weather sources

By default, live weather data is supplied to FH Mobile Response Premium through a portable meteorological (MET) weather station, over the Internet from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) or automatic weather station (AWS) weather stations. You can also manually enter weather data, or publish weather information from another FH Mobile Response client computer.

Note: You must have purchased FH Mobile Response Premium to work with weather information in FH Mobile Response. For information on upgrading from FH Mobile Response Basic to Premium, contact your FH sales representative.

1. (If an incident is not already open) Open an incident, as described in Open an incident.

2. On an incident's Summary sub-tab, under Weather, or on an element's sub-tab, under Weather Summary, do any of the following.

       

   • Change the weather source for the incident.

     Information on changing the weather source for the incident is available in Select the weather source for an incident or element (type).

   • Add another weather source for the incident, or edit an existing weather source.

     Information on adding or editing weather sources is available in Add or edit a weather source for an incident or element (type).

   • Publish weather for the incident, so that other FH Mobile Response client computers connecting to the incident through a server can view it.

     Information on publishing weather or an incident or element is available in Publish and unpublish weather information for an incident or element (type).

   Note: If the Summary sub-tab does not appear, it may be hidden through a configuration setting in FH Mobile Response. Information on displaying or hiding the Summary sub-tab is available in Display or hide incident sub-tabs.
