Transmit data from a Philips HeartStart monitor
FH Medic has the ability to import vitals and EKG data directly from Bluetooth-equipped Philips HeartStart monitors. In addition to attaching the EKG information to the patient care report (PCR) for viewing and printing, FH Medic populates the PCR with any available vitals information (blood pressure, respiratory rate, heart rate, SPO2, ETCO2) it has.
To transmit the data, both the FH Medic mobile computer and the Philips HeartStart monitor must be equipped with Bluetooth. For security reasons, the FH Medic computer and the Philips HeartStart monitor must first be paired before data can be transferred. Pairing is the process of associating the FH Medic computer with the Phillips HeartStart monitor using a password.
