Collect signatures
A signature is a handwritten (and often stylized) depiction of someone's name, nickname, or even a simple "X" or other mark that a person writes on documents as a proof of identity and intent. A signature serves as a verification that EMS services were, in fact, provided as claimed by the EMS provider. These signatures signify knowledge, approval, acceptance, or obligation, and are incredibly important when it comes to insurance claims like Medicare.
You can specify your agency's billing authorization verbiage, patient refusal form, PCS form, and any other agency-specific, custom forms that require signatures.
