Mark an incident location on a map
You can manually identify a location as the one where an incident is occurring, as well as searching for a location and marking it among the found results. Information on searching for a location is available in Find a location on a map.

Depending on whether you are using FH Mobile Response Basic or Premium, do one of the following.
Basic-
On the Main toolbar, choose Location → Mark.
In the View / Op toolbar to the left of the map, Mark Incident Location and Cancel Mark Incident Location appear, and the mouse pointer becomes a cross-hairs. Mark Incident Location is automatically selected.

Click the location on the map that you want to identify as the incident location.

Incident
appears under the star.A pop-up menu of latitude/longitude, address, area, and other pertinent information for the location also appears.
Premium- (If an incident is not already open) Open an incident, as described in Open an incident.

On the incident's Summary tab, under Location, do one of the following.
Search for the incident location-
Click Search Location.
The Address tab appears to the left of the map, and the Address dialog box appears as well.

Follow the directions in Find a location using its address or Find the intersection of two streets, starting with step 3.
Pick a location on the map-
Click Pick Location.
The incident's Map sub-tab appears. In the View / Op toolbar on the left side of the interface, Mark Incident Location and Cancel Mark Incident Location icons appear, and the mouse pointer becomes a cross-hair.
Tip: If the location you want to select is not visible on the map, or if the map is zoomed in or out too far, use the Pan, Zoom In, and Zoom Out icons in the View / Op menu to adjust the map as needed to easily view the area containing the incident location. Once you can see the location, click Mark Incident Location and proceed with the step below.

Click the map at the location you want to mark as the incident location.
An orange star icon appears at the location you clicked, to mark the incident's location, and the Mark Incident Location and Cancel Mark Incident Location icons disappear from the View / Op toolbar.
- Click the incident's Summary sub-tab.
Under Location, the Clear Location, Route To, and Pan To icons activate.
