Update an existing installation

You can update an installation of FH Mobile in two different ways: 

• Update only FH Mobile.

  This process updates to the new version of FH Mobile, but continues using your current version of SQL Server to manage the FH database.

  Note: If you have Device Monitor/Medtronic installed, they are removed and a new version of them are installed automatically.

• Update both FH Mobile and SQL Server.

  This process updates to the new version of FH Mobile, and updates to SQL Server 2008 Express for the FH database.

  Note:  SQL Server 2005 Express has a 4 GB limit, whereas SQL Server 2008 Express has a 10 GB limit. This process uninstalls SQL Server 2005 and FH Mobile, and then reinstalls them as new installations.
