No. A record cannot be physically deleted from the database. Any unwanted call should be started as a practice call in FH Medic on the mobile computer, or converted to a practice call on the FH Medic Cloud.

As soon as your computer connects to the Internet, it silently synchronizes your patient care data to the FH Medic Cloud.
FH Medic can function without an Internet connection. The data resides securely, locally on your mobile computer, until an Internet connection is established again.
In FH Medic on the mobile computer, do the following.
- On the Response tab, complete the required information.

On the Summary → Disposition tab, under Details, for Outcome, choose Patient not Found.
This outcomes removes all required information normally gathered for a patient.
Yes. Please submit a license reset request to support@firehousesoftware.com, and follow the directions in the email you receive back. Once the license is reset, you may use it on your new computer.
Note: FH Medic becomes inactive on your old computer.
Yes. The FH Medic Integration Suite runs as a service, and calls process as soon as the CAD file appears in the CAD data folder.

Yes. The FH Medic Integration Suite connects directly to your database on the FH Medic Cloud.
No. The FH Medic Integration Suite is universally programmed and mapped to FH Medic fields.
We currently have an interface that processes generic TXT
, generic XML
, and Intergraph files.
No. The FH Medic Integration Suite uses the same file as FH CAD Monitor. You have an option to have the calls process through the FH Medic Integration Suite and move to a folder that FH CAD Monitor can process, or you can process calls in FH CAD Monitor and then push the file to a folder that FH Medic Integration Suite can process.
Yes. The FH Medic Integration Suite processes all CAD files. The unit referenced in the CAD file must match the CAD unit description on the FH Medic administration web site, and be defined as CAD-dispatchable. If the information does not match, the file is moved to a processed folder and the call does not upload to the FH Medic Cloud.

All completed, non-practice calls are automatically pulled down from the FH Medic Cloud into a local folder at approximately the beginning of the hour. The generated file has a .FHz
extension.

The data from FH Medic is imported when, in FIREHOUSE Software, you choose File → Station Management→ Import Data from Station. This process can be done manually each hour, or automatically using FIREHOUSE Software's automated task feature and the Import from Station task.

The recommended timing for the automated task is every 30 minutes.

Yes. However, when you set up the automated station import task, you can choose the Skip duplicate records option to skip existing records during the import.

Yes. Because a limited amount of data is exported to the FIREHOUSE Software database, not all NEMSIS data requirements may be met. If you plan to import data for statistical analysis and running other reports, you need to remove all NEMSIS rules in FIREHOUSE Software. You can export data for NEMSIS from the FH Medic administration web site.

NEMSIS validation is conducted in FH Medic and during the FH Medic NEMSIS export, export is performed from FH Medic administration web site, on the FH Medic Cloud.

Yes. Once you create a login to the FH Medic administration site on the FH Medic Cloud, you can restrict the access of that login to specific data entry fields (provider impression, transport locations, and so forth) or incident information (unit, shift , medic, and so forth). Many departments create login accounts for billing companies, qualify control (QC) staff, administrators, and more.

There are a few ways to get data to billing companies.
- Transfer data to FIREHOUSE Software and use a query to export data.
- Create a login account on the FH Medic administration site that allows your billing company to review data and print reports as needed.
- Send your billing company a PDF copy of the reports needed.
