View treatment protocols

A protocol is the procedure a medic in the field should follow when treating a symptom. Protocol information is generally contained in a flowchart, diagram, or series of steps, in a PDF file. The list of protocols a medic can select from must be defined on the FH Medic administration site.

  1. (If you have not done so already) Add a new incident, or open an existing incident, as described Add or edit an incident.

By default, the Scene tab appears.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, touch Protocols.

A list of treatment protocols appears.

If groups of protocols have been created on the FH Medic administration site, buttons for the groups appear above the list of treatment protocols.

Information on creating groups of protocols is available in Add, edit, or delete protocol groups.

  3. (If protocol group buttons appear) Touch the group name.

Only the treatment protocols specified in the group appear in the list of treatment protocols.

  4. Touch the button for the treatment administered to the patient.

A dialog box containing information for treating a symptom appears.

  5. Review the procedures in the treatment protocol.
  6. Touch OK.
