2.1.1.0 Windows Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Medic 2.1.1.0, and provide a listing of the defects resolved and the enhancements implemented during this release.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
When you clicked the Situation tab, the round indicator on the Primary Impression tab was not red, to indicate that a section was required.
When you clicked the Situation tab and then clicked the Primary Impression tab, the Chief Complaint field did not have red text on the label, to indicate that the field is required.
Depending on the field you were entering mileage data for, one of two different number pads appeared for entering the mileage. Now the same number pad appears for all fields you need to enter mileage data for.
After you log in, the Update Crew dialog box appears automatically, and you can specify the shift for the crew member you logged in. The data from this selection was not uploading during the synchronization with the FH Medic Cloud.
The following enhancements were implemented this release.
The FAX (facscimile) feature is now fully functional in FH Medic. A few seconds delay occurs while the fax is processing, then a confirmation message that the fax is in the queue appears.
Note: You can submit a request to support@firehousesoftware.com to have the FAX feature disabled or enabled in your installation of FH Medic.

The fields the medic in the field can or must fill out in FH Medic on the mobile computer is defined on the FH Medic administration site. A number of new fields have been added to the administration site.
Do the following to find the new fields.
- Log in to the FH Medic administration site.

In the row of links that appear across the top of every page, click Configurations.
The Configurations page appears.

Under FH Medic Configurations, click Click here to access FH Medic configuration options.
The Configurations -> FH Medic page appears.

Click Inputs.
The Configurations -> Inputs page appears.
The following new fields have been added to this page.

Information on using the input fields is available in the FH Medic Administrator's Guide, in Work with input fields in the FH Medic application.
The list of treatments the medic in the field can select in FH Medic on the mobile computer must be defined on the FH Medic administration site. For each treatment, more input values, such as attempts, complications, and response, have been added.
Do the following to find the new input values.
- Log in to the FH Medic administration site.

In the row of links that appear across the top of every page, click Configurations.
The Configurations page appears.

Under FH Medic Configurations, click Click here to access FH Medic configuration options.
The Configurations -> FH Medic page appears.

Click Treatments.
The Configurations -> Treatments page appears.

For any of the treatments listed, click Edit.
The Edit Treatment window appears.

Under Input Values, click the menu for Input name.
The new input values for the treatment appear in the menu.
Note: By default, the fields corresponding to these input values are not visible in FH Medic on the mobile computer.
Information on using the input fields is available in the FH Medic Administrator's Guide, in Edit, require, or deactivate treatments for a chief complaint.
By default, the Incident Number field in FH Medic requires the last two digits of the year at the beginning of the incident number.
You can now submit a request to support@firehousesoftware.com to remove this requirement in your installation of FH Medic.
