Depending on which version of Internet Information Services (IIS) you are using, the steps for setting Index.html as the default document and for adding MIME types are different.

Depending on which version of IIS you are using, do one of the following.
Version Do this 6.0 (IIS 6.0) Set Index.html as default document. 7.0 (IIS 7.0) Set Index.html as default document.
(IIS 6.0) Set Index.html as default document
