(IIS 7.0) Set Index.html as default document

1. Choose Start → Administrative Tools → Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

   The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager dialog box appears.

   

2. In the left pane, expand FH Web server name → Sites → Default Web Site.

3. In the left pane, click fhweb.

   The middle pane updates to display the contents of the folder.

4. Scroll down in the middle pane and double-click Default Document.

   

   The middle and right panes update to display information about setting default documents.

   

5. In the middle pane, select index.html from the list.

6. In the right pane, click Move Up.

   A confirmation dialog box appears.

   

7. Click Yes.
8. Click Move Up until index.html is at the top of the list in the middle pane.
9. Close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager dialog box.

10. Depending on whether you use Safari or Firefox as a browser, do one of the following.

    Do you use Safari or Firefox?	Do this
    No	Continue with Place the temporary license file in the installation directory.
    Yes	Continue with (IIS 7.0) Set MIME types.
