Remove a location from the favorites list

If you have built a list of favorite locations, you may find it getting too long, or you may have added a location accidentally, or you may want to remove a location that is no longer relevant.

Information on adding locations to a favorites list is available in Mark a found location as a favorite.

1. (If you have not done so already) Open your list of favorite locations, as described in List favorite locations.

   

2. (If the button at the bottom of the tab listing the favorites displays Switch to Advanced) Click Switch to Advanced.

   The Locations tab appears, and the tab displaying the possible matches becomes a sub-tab of the Locations tab. Each possible match has its own menu arrow on the right, and the button at the bottom of the tab is renamed to Switch to Basic. To the right of the map, a toolbar of additional options appears.

   

3. In the tab, for the favorite location you want to delete from the list, click the right-pointing arrow.

   

4. From the menu that appears to the right, choose Remove From List.

   The location you selected is removed from the list, and its corresponding location marker is removed from the map.
