Mark a found location as a favorite

Once you find a location on the map that you will want to return to quickly in the future, without having to search for it again, you can designate it as a "favorite" and select it from a list of favorite locations.

Note: You are not able to mark locations found with latitude and longitude coordinates, or US National Grid description, as favorites.

  1. (If you have not done so already) Find the location on the map, as described in Find a location on a map.

  2. If more than one location appears in the tab listing the found locations, select the location you want to mark as a favorite.

    The push-pin on the map moves as necessary to identify the location you selected on the tab.

  3. Depending on which version of FH Mobile Response you are using, do one of the following.

    ClosedFH Mobile Response Basic

    Note: To display the results list in the tab in either basic or advanced mode, click Switch to Basic or Switch to Advanced. The name of the button changes, depending on which mode you are currently in.

    ClosedBasic mode

    • In the tab listing the search results, above the list, click the right-pointing arrow, then choose Add to Favorites.

    ClosedAdvanced mode

    Note: You can mark a result as a favorite in the advanced mode in the same manner as in the basic mode, in addition to the steps below.

    1. To the right of each item in the search results, click the right-pointing arrow.

    2. From the menu that appears to the right, choose Fav.

    Note: To display the results list in the tab in either basic or advanced mode, click Switch to Basic or Switch to Advanced. The name of the button changes, depending on which mode you are currently in.

    • In the tab listing the search results, above the list, click the right-pointing arrow, then choose Add to Favorites.

    Note: You can mark a result as a favorite in the advanced mode in the same manner as in the basic mode, in addition to the steps below.

    1. To the right of each item in the search results, click the right-pointing arrow.

    2. From the menu that appears to the right, choose Fav.

    The location information is saved.
