Disable User Account Control on Windows Server 2008 R2 or later

Windows 7 workstations have a feature called User Account Control (UAC), which is enabled by default. This feature causes performance problems with FH, and needs to be disabled before installing FH Mobile.

1. Log on to the mobile computer as an administrator.

2. Choose Start → Control Panel.

   The Control Panel dialog box appears.

   

3. Click User Accounts.

   The User Accounts screen of the Control Panel appears.

   

4. Click User Accounts.

   The User Accounts screen refreshes to display different options.

   

5. Click Turn User Account Control on or off.

   The Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure dialog box appears.

   

6. Clear Use User Account Control (VAC) to help protect your computer, and then click OK.
7. Close the User Accounts dialog box.
8. Restart your computer.
9. Continue with Install SQL Server 2008 Express.
