Download and install the streets query

If you are using FH Medic in conjunction with FIREHOUSE Software, you can export the streets in the FIREHOUSE Software database to a spreadsheet using a FIREHOUSE Software query available on Box.com. This spreadsheet can then be imported into FH Medic, so that personnel in the field can simply select a street name instead of manually typing it in when responding to an incident.

1. In a Web browser, go to https://firehousesoftware.box.com/FHMedicStQuery.

   A page on Box.com appears in the Web browser.

2. Download the FH Medic Street Listing.FHz file to a location on your local hard drive.
3. Log into FIREHOUSE Software as an administrator.

4. Choose Administration → Install New or Updated Components.

   The Install New or Updated Features dialog box appears.

   

5. Click Install From.

   A file browser appears.

6. Use the dialog box to find and open the FH Medic Street Listing.FHz file you downloaded to your hard drive.

   The contents of the .FHz file appear in the Install New or Updated Features dialog box.

7. Click OK.

   A series of dialog boxes and status bars displaying the progress of the installation appear and then close automatically.

8. Continue with Run the street query in FIREHOUSE Software.
