5.6.04 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH CAD Monitor release 5.6.04 and provide a listing of the enhancements implemented during this release.
Note: FH CAD Monitor requires FIREHOUSE Software 7.9.14 or FHnet 2.0.18.08 or later.
The following enhancements were implemented during this release.
inc_user.council
field checked for a value
FH CAD Monitor now checks the inc_user.council
field from FIREHOUSE Software to see if it is blank. If the field is blank, FH CAD Monitor uses the value in the CAD system's XML source file, from cad_inc_user.council_district
field to fill the FIREHOUSE Software field.
If you use Spillman as your CAD system, FH CAD Monitor now records all interactions with SQL Server during processing, all SQL database interactions (such as select, update, and insert), pertinent database values, and the complete flag before and after processing an incident.
To support this additional logging, in the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box, on the Log & Errors tab, the Log SQL DB Interactions (Select, Update, Insert, etc) and Log Database Values options now appear.
Information on these options is available in Specify log files and error handling.
If you are importing CAD data into FHnet, you can now select a schema version in FH CAD Monitor which exports only data that is valid for FHnet.
In the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box, on the System2 tab, the new FhNet Schema Version option appears.
Information on these options is available in Specify system settings.
You can now set up an expression in FH CAD Monitor to determine whether or not to stop the processing of an incident. If the expression you create evaluates to ABORT_INCI
, FH CAD Monitor stops processing the entire incident. If it does not evaluate to ABORT_INCI
, the data processes as normal.
In the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box, on the Filters & Data tab, the new Abort Processing section and button appear.
Information on terminating the process is available in Specify a process termination expression.
The following issue was resolved during this release.
Note: This issue occurred only in integrations between FIREHOUSE Software 7 and FH CAD Monitor.
When you purchase FH CAD Monitor, you are sent either an activation code or a license file by FIREHOUSE Software, which you would use to license FH CAD Monitor during the installation process. For a short time in 2017, FIREHOUSE Software could only send license files for new FH CAD Monitor installations.
