Include additional information

You may need to include additional information about an incident, such as identifying additional agencies that assisted, which agency provided first patient care, what other responders arrived to assist at the incident, and so forth.

  1. In the left pane, click the Additional bookmark.

    The right pane scrolls down to the top of the Additional Factors section of the page.

  2. For Additional Agencies, click the list icon to the right of the field, select all the appropriate options from the menu that appears, then click OK or click outside the menu to identify other agencies that were present at the incident scene.

  3. (If multiple agencies were present) For First Agency to Provide Patient Care, click the field or the list icon to the right of the field, then select the appropriate single option from the menu that appears to identify which agency was first to provide care to the patient.

  4. For Additional Responders, click either None, or click the list icon to the right of the field, select all the appropriate options from the menu that appears, then click OK or click outside the menu to identify other types of responders that were present at the incident scene.

    Example: Additional responders may be from fire departments, hazardous materials crews, utilities workers, law enforcement, and so forth.

  5. In Additional Comments, type any information necessary to document additional factors at the incident scene.

    Example: EMS mutual aid was provided by the E&F agency.
