Import the trusted server certificate on a dependent host
Note: You need to add a policy in the Microsoft Management Console. This is only required when using a self-generated certificate.
- On the dependent host, choose Start → Run.

In the Open dialog box, type
mmc
.The Microsoft Management Console appears.
- Choose Console → Add/Remove Snap-in.
- Click Add.
- Select Certificates, and then click Add.
- In the Certificate Snap-in screen, select Computer account, and then click Next.
- In the Select Computer screen, select Local computer, and then click Finish.
- Close the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box.
- Return to the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, and then click Certificates (Local Computer).
- Click OK.
- Under Console Root, expand Certificates.
- In the left pane, select Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
- In the right pane, right-click Certificates and then choose All Tasks → Import.

ca.cert
certificate.
