Print a map

Choose Go → Tools → Print Current Map.
The Map Print Center dialog box appears.

(Optional) Do any of the following to prepare for printing.
Change the orientation, size, and margins of the printed page-
In the toolbar at the top of the dialog box, click Page Setup.
The Page Setup dialog box appears.
- Under Orientation, select Portrait or Landscape, to indicate the direction the map should be printed on the page.
- Under Margins, in Left, Right, Top, and Bottom, type the number of inches (in decimal format) for the amount of white space to leave around the edges of the map.
- Under Paper, from Size, choose the size of paper tp print the map on.
- From Source, choose the input method for the paper or the type of paper to print the map on.
- Click OK.
Adjust the view in the map-
In the toolbar at the top of the dialog box, use Pan, Zoom In, and Zoom Out to adjust the view of the map to display the information you need on a printed page.
Note: Pan, Zoom In, and Zoom Out function the same way in this dialog box as they do in the View / Op toolbar. Information on using them is available in Pan, zoom in, and zoom out on the map.
Preview the map before printing-
In the toolbar at the top of the dialog box, click Print Preview.
The Print Preview dialog box appears.
- (Optional) Use the standard print preview options in the toolbar across the top of the dialog box to inspect the map as it will appear on the printed page.
- In the toolbar in the toolbar, click Close.

Click Print.
The Print dialog box appears.
- Choose options, preferences, and printers as appropriate to your department's system, and then click Print.
- Click Close.
