Keep the map centered when tracking
Note: You must have a global positioning system (GPS) device configured on your mobile computer and communicating with FH Mobile Response to track your current location and display it in FH Mobile Response. Information on configuring a GPS device is available in Set up GPS communication with FH Mobile Response.
If you have a GPS configured to work with FH Mobile Response, and if you have enabled tracking of your current location, you can have FH Mobile Response pan the map as needed to keep the map centered on your current location.
-
(If you have not done so already) Do one of the following.
- On the Main ribbon, click Tracking Enabled.
- Choose Go → Tools → GPS Tracking → Tracking Enabled.
Your current location appears on the map as a directional arrow in an orange circle, and moves on the map as you drive, to reflect your changing location.
-
Do one of the following.
- On the Main ribbon, click Center Screen.
- Choose Go → Tools →GPS Tracking → Center Screen.
As FH Mobile Response tracks your location, it pans across the map as needed to keep the map centered on your current location, at the current zoom level.
