Add, arrange, and close maps

You can open multiple maps in FH Mobile Response, and arrange them as needed for best reference and response time, and close them.

• Do any of the following.

  • Add a map

    1. Choose Go → Map → Map.

       The Map tab appears, and the View / Op toolbar on the left side of the interface provides surface navigation viewing options for working with the map.

       

    2. (Optional) Repeat the previous step to open as many maps as you want.

       Additional maps appear as numbered Map tabs, and the currently selected tab is the active map.

       

  • Change the order of the map tabs

    • Drag a map tab to the left or right.

      

  • View multiple maps simultaneously

    • Place the mouse pointer on the tab of one of the maps that you want to view simultaneously, and drag it to the horizontal or vertical edge of the interface.

      As you drag the tab, the mouse pointer turns into a page icon, and when the mouse pointer approaches the top, bottom, left, or right edge of the map area, a gray box appears around the area where the Map tab will be positioned.

        

      When you release the mouse, the screen splits to show both Map tabs at the same time.

        

    • You can continue splitting screens by repeating this step with other Map tabs you have open.

      

  • Close a map

    • Click the X on the tab.
