Specify a master mobile computer

1. Log on to the computer where the FH Mobile License Manager is installed.

2. Choose Start → Programs → FIREHOUSE Software → FIREHOUSE Software Mobile License Manager.

   The Mobile License Manager dialog box appears, with the Login Required dialog box over it.

3. In the Login Required dialog box, in User Name and Password, enter your user name and password for the FH database, and then click OK.

4. In the Mobile License Manager dialog box, from Select Mobile Application, choose the name of the FH Mobile application that you want to establish a "master" computer for.

   Note: While you can establish a master computer for any FH Mobile application, FH Mobile Preplans settings cannot actually be changed on a mobile computer.

5. On the Registered Computers tab, select the name of a mobile computer, and then click Set as Master.

   The Set As Master dialog box appears.

   

6. Click OK.

   The mobile computer you set as the master now has a different icon associated with it, and the Set as Master button is renamed Clear Master.

   

   Note: To have none of the mobile computers be designated as the master computer, select the current master computer from the list, and then click Clear Master. To change which mobile computer is the master computer, repeat steps 5-6 for a different mobile computer in the list.

7. Synchronize all the mobile computers with the FH database, to update them with the change of master computer.
