3.0.1.81 Windows Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Medic 3.0.1.81 on Windows, and provide a listing of the enhancements implemented and defects resolved during this release.
The following enhancements were implemented this release.
Ohio FH Medic customers will now receive the updated FH Medic rules engine, which tracks and enforces NEMSIS national and state rules. It now more-effectively triggers required rules and, based on the data you enter, suggests data to include in an incident.
Clearer error messages also now appear during the validation process to alert you to omitted or invalid data in an incident.
On the Events tab, in many cases, you need to record who performed a procedure or administered a medication. When you click the Performed By field, the Common and All tabs now appear on the right, so that you have the option to search the list of crew members for fast retrieval of a name instead of manually entering the name.
On the FH Medic administration web site, on the Configurations > FH Medic screen, the Disclaimers icon is now available.
Information on using the disclaimers feature is available in Edit disclaimers for signatures.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
On the following tabs, when you clicked the following buttons, the list that appeared on the right was not sorted alphabetically.
- On the Situation → Injury tab, Cause of injury button
- On the Response → Incident Information tab, Location Type button
- On the Events → Treatments → Procedure tab, Procedure button
- On the Situation → Impression tab, Providers Primary Impression or Providers Secondary Impressions buttons
- On the Situation → Symptoms tab, Primary Symptom or Other Symptoms buttons
On the Patient → Meds tab, when you clicked a medication in the list, a dialog box appeared in which you could prescribe the dosage for the medicine. If you clicked Cancel in this dialog box, the dialog box did not respond.
On the Incidents list screen, if you selected an incident from the list and clicked Copy Incident to New, information from the Response → Incident Information and Response → Call Times tabs did not copy from the existing incident to the new incident as expected.
Note: Information in state specific fields are not copied to the new incident.
On the Situation → Impression tab, when you click Complaint Type, then click Add New, a dialog box appears. In the dialog box, when you clicked Duration of Complaint, then clicked in the blank field that appeared on the right, a keyboard appeared instead of a number pad for entering a numerical value.
On the Patient → Demographics tab, when you entered a value for Weight LBS, the value was automatically converted to a decimal value, and should not have been.
If a value was pre-defined for Type of Destination on the FH Medic administration site, the value did not appear as expected in FH Medic on the mobile device, on the Summary → Disposition tab, in Type of Destination.
Some departments had both a FH Medic 2.2.3 and a 3.0 database, and could change back and forth between the two databases through the FH Medic administration web site. However, this ability caused issues on the web site; the ability to change between the two databases has now been disabled.
If you added protocol files to the FH Medic administration site, under Configurations → FH Medic Configurations → Protocols, the files did not appear in FH Medic on Windows computers.
In addition, protocol files that were marked as inactive on the administration site appeared unexpectedly in FH Medic on both Windows computers and iPad devices.
On the FH Medic administration site, under Configurations → FH Medic Configurations → Locations, if you added a fax number to a location, the fax number did not save as expected.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, if you clicked View PCR, then Fax on the Patient Care Report screen that appeared, the prompt for the fax number was not pre-populated as expected.
