3.0.0.37 Windows Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Medic 3.0.0.37 on Windows, and provide a listing of the defects resolved during this release.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
On the FH Medic administration site, under Configurations → FH Medic Configurations → Impressions, not all of the Field Reqs links responded when clicked.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, the Disposition tab remained red, indicating that it is required, even after the required fields in it were filled in.
On the Patient → Past History tab, when you clicked Medical/Surgical, the right pane was blank and the Selection Location button did not respond. A different set of options should have appeared instead.
On the Situation → Injury tab, some fields appeared that should been on the ACN tab.
On the Patient → Past History tab, under Current Medication, each field label was Current Medication in the list.
The layout of this tab has been returned to the way it was laid out in FH Medic 2.2.3.
On the Situation → Assessment tab, when you added a new assessment, then for fields that prompted for multiple entries, you made selections, the fields remained blank and displayed with red label text, indicating that they were still required.
On the Situation → Injury tab, if you clicked Cause of Injury, then in the right pane clicked an option related to a vehicle accident, the MVC/MVA Details fields did not appear as expected.
On the Summary→ Signatures tab, a way to obtain the signature of the driver of the EMS crew was not available.
When validating an incomplete PCR, the following error message appeared.
CreateRequiredFieldList Coud not find a part of the path.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, the Transport Mode from Scene field appeared twice.
In the following cases, selection choices were not alphabetized for the list that appears on the right.
- On the Events → Treatments → Procedure tab, when you clicked the Procedure field.
- On the Events → Treatments → Medication Administration tab, when you clicked the Medication field.
- On the Situation → Impression tab, when you clicked Providers Primary Impression and Providers Secondary Impressions.
- On the Situation → Injury tab, when you clicked Cause of Injury.
- On the Situation → Symptoms tab, when you clicked Primary Symptom and Other Symptoms.
On the Situation → Assessment tab, when you clicked Abdomen, then Add New, the list that appeared presented the assessment before the abdomen location. In addition, the field labels were both labeled Abdomen Assessment.
On the Situation → Assessment tab, when you clicked Eye, then Add New, the list that appeared presented the assessment before the eye location. In addition, the field labels were both labeled Eye Assessment.
On the Events → Treatments → Medication Administration tab, when you clicked Performed by, a free-text entry appeared in the right pane instead of a drop-down list of crew members.
The same issue occurred on the Summary → Disposition tab, when you clicked Crew Member ID, then in the right pane, clicked Add New.
On the Events → Airway tab, the label on the Date/Time Decision to Manage the Patient with an I was truncated.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, the values for Crew Member ID did not automatically populate with values from the FH Medic crew login dialog box.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, if you scrolled down through the list of fields on the left side, the scroll bar would immediately return to the top of the list, making it harder to enter data for fields lower on the list.
Medication on the Controlled Substance Form should have populated from the entries on the Events → Treatments → Medication Administration tab, that were flagged as narcotic medications on the FH Medic administration site. The free-text field for entering medications should not have appeared on the Controlled Substance Form.
On the Events → Treatments → Medication Administration tab, for Roles/Type of Person Administering Medication, the list of selections was too long and not sorted.
On the Situation → Symptoms tab, an Airway label appeared, that should not have.
On the Situation → Injury tab, the Incident Type and Work Related Injury both asked for the same data. One was an old field that was not exported, and was removed.
On the Events → Treatments → Medication Administration tab, medications that had default dosages assigned to them on the FH Medic administration site did not automatically populate (when a single dose was assigned) or prompt for a dosage selection (when multiple dosages were available).
In situations where you were prompted to add a new record, such as an assessment record, a Cancel button was not available to back out of creating the record.
On the Response → Incident Information tab, the EMD Performed field displayed only one selection instead of the four selections it should have.
On the Situation tab, the ACN sub-tab label is always red, even when none of the fields on the sub-tab are required.
In situations where you needed to delete a single record, such as a current medication record, sometimes all the records were deleted when you clicked Delete Selected, instead of just the record you had selected.
If a call was canceled while the unit was en route, the following issues occurred.
- On the Response → Call Times tab, the labels on Unit Arrived on Scene, Arrived at Patient, Unit Left Scene, and Patient Arrived at Destination remained red, indicating that data was required, even though the call had been canceled.
- On the Patient → Demographics tab, you were still required to fill out patient name and other information, even though there was no patient.
- On the Patient → Meds and Patient → Allergies tabs, fields remained red, indicating that they were required, even though there was no patient.
- Other expected changes through the report did not appear.
On the Response → Incident Information tab, a default value was not automatically generated for Incident Number.
After creating a new incident or opening an existing incident, the Response → Incident Information tab appears. On occasion, the Situation tab was highlighted, even though you were viewing fields for the Response → Incident Information tab.
On the Situation → Assessments tab, if you filled out all the required fields, the Assessments tab itself remained red, indicating that there were still required fields to fill out.
If you validated a patient care report, then double-clicked an item that was listed as invalid, a blank screen appeared.
On the FH Medic administration site, on the Configurations → FH Medic Configurations → Settings page, if you set the Vital Sets Required setting to require two vitals sets, the requirement did not propagate to FH Medic on the mobile computer. On the Events → Vitals tab, the Vitals tab was not red, and the requirement was not checked during validation.
On the Patient → Allergies tab, if you clicked Medications, you were not able to manually enter a medication.
On the Situation → Injury tab, when you clicked Possible Injury, then chose No, fields that should be no longer be required and should have automatically populated with No or Not Applicable did not do so.
During the validation process, fields that had not been required when filling out the patent care report were being flagged as having invalid entries.
On the Summary → Disposition tab, under Other, for the Trauma Referral Center (TreC) Notified field, if you selected No, other related fields were not automatically disabled as expected.
On the Events → Vitals tab, the Total GCS field appeared under Temperature instead of in the Glascow Coma Score section, and did not total the GCS score as expected.
On the Patient → Past History tab, the Current Medication field appeared, and should not have.
On the FH Medic administration site, if you tried to view cities to edit, the administration site unexpectedly ceased functioning.
