Download and install FH Device Monitor

FH Device Monitor includes Code-Stat, the component necessary for communication between the LifePack 15 monitor and the FH Medic mobile computer, and a few other components.

Note: The steps below must be performed on the FH Medic mobile computer.

1. In a web browser, navigate to https://firehousesoftware.app.box.com/s/ld2q7t299liohyz58aaq.

   The FH Mobile LP 15 Install page appears..

   

2. Click DevMon_Setup.EXE.

   A confirmation screen for downloading FH Device Monitor appears.

   

3. Click Download.

   A prompt to run or save DevMon_Setup.EXE appears.

   

4. Click Run.

   The software downloads, and the installation wizard opens, displaying the Welcome screen.

   

5. Click Next >.

   The Device Interface screen of the installation wizard appears, indicating where FH Device Monitor will be installed.

   

6. Click Next >.

   A dialog box window containing a disclaimer message appears over the installation wizard.

   

7. Click OK.

   The next screen of the installation wizard appears, indicating that Code-Stat and other missing components will be installed on the FH Medic mobile computer.

   

8. Select any installation components that you need to install on the FH Medic mobile computer.

   Note: By default, the installation wizard selects necessary components that are missing on the FH Medic mobile computer.

9. Click Next >.

   The FH Device Monitor begins to install, a progress bar and DOS window appear, and then installation pauses as the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for ISScript screen appears.

   

10. Click Next >.

    The License Agreement screen appears.

    

11. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next >.

    The Ready to Install the Program screen appears.

    

12. Click Install.

    The installation of the ISScript begins. When the installation finishes, the InstallShield Wizard Completed screen appears.

    

13. Click Finish.

    The installation of FH Device Monitor resumes, and a Windows Security dialog box appears.

    

14. Click Install.

    The installation of FH Device Monitor resumes. When it finishes, the Installation Complete screen appears.

    

15. Click Finish.
16. Continue with Let the LifePak 15 find the FH Medic mobile computer.
