Edit destinations or incident facilities to transport a patient to

A destination or incident facility is a hospital, facility, or other place a department may transport patients to. The medic entering destination information in FH Medic must select a destination or facility that is already defined as a location on the FH Medic administration site. This list is available in FH Medic on the Summary tab, on the Disposition sub-tab, in the Diverted and Details sections.

1. (If you have not done so already) Access the list of destinations/facilities in one of these ways.

   • Through the Configurations page.

     1. In the row of links that appear across the top of every page, click Configurations.

        

        The Configurations page appears.

        

     2. Under FH Medic Configurations, click Click here to access FH Medic configuration options.

        The Configurations -> FH Medic page appears.

        

   • Through the Demographics page.

     • (If you have not done so already) In the row of links that appear across the top of every page, click Demographics.

       

       The Demographics page appears.

       

2. Click Destination/Incident Facilities.

   The Configurations -> Destination/Facilities or Demographics -> Destination/Facilities page appears.

   Note: These pages display the same list and have the same functionality—the Destination/Facilities icon is available on both the Configurations and Demographics pages as a convenience to the user.

       

3. Do any of the following.

   Edit an existing location

   1. On the right side of the row listing the location you want to edit, click Edit.

      The Configurations > Destination/Incident Facility > Destination/Incident Facility Information or Demographics -> Destination/Facilities > Destination/Incident Facility Information page appears, and the fields populate with existing information for the destination or facility.

          

   2. Edit information already in the fields for an existing destination as needed.
   3. Click Save Changes.
   Show or hide destinations or facilities

   • Depending on which destinations or facilities you want to display in FH Medic, do one of the following.

     To do this	Do this
     Display or hide specific destinations or facilities	In the Active column, select or clear only the destinations and facilities you want to show or hide in FH Medic. Only the selected destinations and facilities appear in FH Medic.
     Display or hide all destinations or facilities	Above the list of destinations and facilities, click either Select All Destinations/Facilities or Deselect All Destinations/Facilities. All the listed destinations or facilities appear or are hidden in FH Medic.
