2.2.4.25 Windows Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Medic 2.2.4.25 on Windows (using NEMSIS 2.2), and provide a listing of the enhancements implemented and issues resolved during this release. This release covers changes made since FH Medic 2.2.3.34.
The following enhancements were implemented this release.
You now have the ability to manually synchronize FH Medic data for an individual incident from inside FH Medic.
To find this new capability, do the following.
- Open the incident you want to synchronize the data for.
-
Synchronize in one of these ways.
The synchronization occurs and FH Medic pushes data for the incident to the FH Medic Cloud.
On the Summary > Signatures screen, there is now an Edit Selected button available in the lower right corner of the screen, so that you can make changes to some of the signature-related information, without having to delete and re-do the entire signature.
Example: If you create a signature, then realize you had misspelled the patient's name, you can now edit the patient name associated with the signature.
Note: The hand-written part of the signature can not be edited.
You can now edit the unit records for an incident.
To find this new feature, do the following.
- Click the Response tab, and then click the Incident Information sub-tab.
-
Under Incident, click Scene Information.
Note: If Scene Information is not visible in the FH Medic application on the mobile computer, an FH Medic administrator must enable its visibility on the FH Medic administration web site.
The right pane updates, and the Show button appears.
-
Click Show.
The Scene Information screen appears. In the lower right corner of the screen, the new Edit Selected button appears.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
If you chose FH → Incidents → Attachments, selected an attachment in the dialog box that appeared, and then clicked Delete Selected, the attachment was removed in FH Medic, but not from the FH Medic administration web site.
The mileage fields listed below did not have editable input names on the FH Medic administration web site.
- Mileage Beginning
- Mileage at Scene
- Mileage at Destination
- Mileage Ending
The following calculated fields were not available as inputs on the FH Medic administration web site.
- Loaded Mileage (calculated from Mileage at Scene to Mileage at Destination)
- Total Mileage (calculated from Mileage Beginning to Mileage Ending)
If your installation of FH Medic is integrated with the FH Medic Integration Suite, and if you updated to FH Medic 2.2.4.28, incidents from the CAD system were duplicated in FH Medic approximately 10 minutes the first incident came in.
If you added a new incident, on any screen that had City, State, and Zip fields, if you typed a free-text value in City field, then typed a free-text value in Zip, the value you had entered in City was erased. This erasure of information also happened for the State field.
On the Incidents screen, when you click CAD Messages in the upper right corner, the CAD Incidents dialog box appears. On occasion, the same incident from the CAD system was listed multiple times in the dialog box, and should not have been.
On the FH Medic administration site, if an incident was put into Review
status and corrections or updates to the information was requested, and the medic entered the updated information and validated the incident again on the mobile computer, the incident status on the FH Medic administration site did not change to the Completed
status. The incident on the administration site also did not contain the corrected information from the medic in the field.
If you created a new incident and filled out all the required fiends, including the medic narrative, then closed and restarted FH Medic and opened the incident you had just created, some fields on the Patient and Situation tabs were still highlighted as required, and on the Summary > Narrative tab, the medic's narrative had been removed. However, if you then click Validate, no errors appeared and FH Medic indicated that the incident was complete.
If you created a new incident, then on the Response > Incident Information tab, you clicked Scene Information, and added the scene information, and clicked Validate for the incident, validation messages appeared indicating that scene information needed some corrections.
If you then clicked the validation message, the Scene Information field appears, but the text EPCRInputRow2
appears in the right pane instead of the normal label, and the Show button in the right pane did not respond.
On the Events > Vitals tab, if you added a set of vitals with a time set for prior to the arrival of the dispatched unit, even if you clicked Prior to Arrival and clicked Yes, the incident would not validate.
If you created a new incident, then on the Response > Call Times tab, in the Mileage at Scene field, you were able to enter a negative number for the mileage.
If you created a new incident, FH Medic "remembered" the last tab you visited while working on the incident. When you created the next new incident, FH Medic opened new incident to the last-visited tab of the previous incident, instead of to the Response > Incident Information tab.
If you created a new incident and, and on the Reponse > Incident Information tab, you supplied values for all required fields except Incident Number, returned to the Incident screen, and reopened the incident record, and then entered the incident number, the incident number did not save as expected.
If you entered data in the Incident and Patient tabs while the mobile computer was offline, closed FH Medic by right-clicking the computer's task bar and choosing Close from the menu that appeared, moved to a location where you could work online, launched FH Medic and reopened the incident record, the information you had entered in the Incident and Patient tabs is missing.
If you created a new incident and entered data into the Incident > Response and Patient tabs, exited FH Medic, logged back in, reopened the incident, updated the patient's name information, then accessed the Incidents screen, the changes to the patient's name information were not reflected on the screen.
If you created a new incident, then on the Response > Incident Information tab, you clicked Scene Information, added the a new unit to the scene information, and clicked Submit, the unit was added as expected. However, if then selected the unit and clicked Edit Selected, you were not able to edit the information for the unit. If then selected the unit and clicked Remove Selected, the unit was not deleted.
