2.2.3.28 Windows Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH Medic 2.2.3.28 on Windows (using NEMSIS 2.2), and provide a listing of the defects resolved and enhancements implemented during this release. This release covers changes made between FH Medic 2.2.3.0 and 2.2.3.28.
The following enhancements were implemented this release.
The FH Medic Integration Suite can now process Tritech XML data files and import the data into FH Medic.
You can now request to have the At Scene Mileage and At Destination Mileage fields hidden in FH Medic.
Caution: These two values are used to calculate loaded mileage for billing purposes, and it is not recommend that they be hidden.
To hide these fields, email support@firehousesoftware.com with your request to have them hidden.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
Not all protocol groups defined on the FH Medic appeared in FH Medic on the mobile computer.
When you added a non-system user as a crew member, or tried to remove a non system user from the crew, the following error message appeared.
Microsoft .Net Framework Error. Unhandled exception occurred in you application. Please select wither continue or quit application. Then at the bottom of that dialog box, Argument "Key" is not a valid value.
On the Response > Call Times screen, if you entered a value in the Transfer Care field, then cleared the field, the date/time separators remained in the field and an error appeared when you validated the incident.
If incomplete calls were uploaded to the FH Medic administration site from one mobile computer, then the medic logged into a different mobile computer with the same login, the incomplete call was not visible on the second mobile computer.
If you clicked a report that was in Review status, the following message appeared.
FH Medic has only downloaded this incident header and is unable to download the rest of the incident at this time.
Vitals data transmitted by Bluetooth from a Life Pak monitor to FH Medic on a tablet did not appear on the device or in the ePCR until you returned to the Incidents page, then re-opened the PCR.
On the Situation > Injury tab, when you clicked the Trauma sub-tab, or the Trauma - MCV / MCC button, an unhandled exception error message appeared.
After updating to FH Medic 2.2.3.0, the following issues occurred:
- On the Incident screen, the address and description did not appear.
- The alarm time for new incidents defaulted to 1:00 a.m.
- Patient assessment data did not save as expected, did not appear at the bottom of the Situation > Assessment screen or in the PCR, and did not validate correctly.
- Vitals data entered in FH Medic did not appear in the PCR or in the patient summary on the mobile computer, but did appear when the PCR was opened from the FH Medic administration site.
- Incidents marked as complete on the mobile computer were listed as incomplete on the FH Medic administration site, or were blank when opened from the site.
Duplicate patient care reports (PCRs) appeared for each incident, and call times for the incidents did not appear as expected. The ability to fax PCRs to medical facilities also did not function as expected.
When retrieving a discarded CAD incident, in the CAD Incidents dialog box, the Get CAD Messages button did not work as expected.
A validation error appeared for incidents containing date of birth (DOB) entries marked as unable to obtain (UTO).
Reports that contained vitals information did not validate and complete as expected.
If you changed the date of service on the FH Medic administration site, when you completed the call in FH Medic on the mobile computer, the date of service you had entered was overridden with the current date.
If you specified that a date of birth (DOB) was UTO (unable to obtain), the Age field did not then highlight in red to indicate that it was required.
When using the FH Medic keyboard to enter an incident number, if you began the entry with an alphabetic character, then attempted to add another character or number before the first alphabetic character, the character was added to the end of the field instead.
If you created a multiple-patient refusal, the associated checklist did not appear as expected, and the required fields remained red even after passing validation.
When two separate doses of a narcotic drug were administered from the same vial and recorded by the medic as two separate narcotic treatments, FH Medic assumed that two vials had been opened and incorrectly calculated the amount of wasted medication.
On the Events → Vitals and Situation → Assessment tabs, the Vitals and Assessment label text did not turn red to indicate that there were required fields on the tabs.
On the Summary → Narrative → Auto Narrative tab, if the patient was less than one year old, the automatic narrative described the patient's age in years instead of in months.
On the Summary → Narrative → Auto Narrative tab, vitals were still required, even if the call was canceled en route and no patient received care.
