Redundancy
The Internet infrastructure consists of two GIGe links from separate vendors, which are: AT&T, and Verizon Business. Failover consists of multiple GIGe’s through diverse Tier 1 ISPs. Multiple OC3’s through Tier 1 ISPs and redundant routers terminate GIGe and OC3. Failover firewalls front-end the Internet core. High-availability switches connect customer firewalls. Load-balancing and packet-shaping capabilities are available to control bandwidth availability and usage at the client and IP level.
Designated server snapshots are replicated daily to a backup data center, which is the disaster recovery site. It will host the FIREHOUSE Software hosted data in the event of a disaster.
