5.4.27 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH CAD Monitor release 5.4.27, and provide a listing of the enhancements implemented and defects resolved during this release.
Note: FH CAD Monitor requires FH 7.9.14 or FHnet 2.0.18.08 or later.
The following enhancements were implemented during this release.
When FH CAD Monitor processed an update for an incident that has been previously marked as complete in FH, FH CAD Monitor did not change the completion status of the incident in FH.
You now have the option to have FH CAD Monitor change the completion status of the incident in FH when it processes an incident update. The new option appears in the Options dialog box, on the System 2 tab, and is named Reset incident complete flag to false, on reimported incidents which were previously marked as complete.
You can now include shift information from the FH scheduling roster when FH CAD Monitor processes an incoming data file.
To have shift information included in an incident from FH CAD Monitor, do the following.
-
In FH, activate the station roster link.
-
Choose Tools → Workstation Options.
The Workstation Options dialog box appears.
-
Click the Scheduling tab.
-
Under Real Time Links, select Real-time link with Station Roster.
Near the top of the tab, the Default Schedule field becomes required.
- For Default Schedule, click the lookup button () and then select the type of schedule to use for the station roster link from the dialog box that appears.
- Click OK to close the Workstation Options dialog box.
-
The following issues were resolved during this release.
Note: These issues occurred only in integrations between FH 7 and FH CAD Monitor.
For generic ASCII data files, if you imported a rural address, the address type imported correctly, but the rural directions value did not import as expected.
For generic XML data files, if more than one data file was processed at the same time, not all of the user fields imported into FH in the correct incident.
When FH CAD Monitor processed a file that was not complete, the following error message appeared.
File 'name of file' contains version Number ''', and conflicts with user selected version 'V01.00.00. This file will not be processed.
The file was then moved to the processed data folder, even though the data had not yet been imported into FH.
When trying to install FH CAD Monitor on a 64-bit Windows computer, the installation wizard looked for the executable file in the wrong location.
Because the default mapping for the census tract data contained a spelling error, the data did not import as expected.
If you installed FH CAD Monitor on a Windows 10 64-bit computer, errors appeared when trying to import incidents. The necessary Microsoft Windows hotfix has been incorporated into the FH CAD Monitor installation wizard to correct this problem.
