5.1.37 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for FH CAD Monitor release 5.1.37, and provide a listing of the defects resolved and the enhancements implemented during this release.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
If you changed the incident number format to XXXXXXX with the steps below, the setting was not saved, and was reset to the YY-XXXXXXX format.

At the bottom of the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor dialog box, click Options.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box appears.
- Click the System1 tab.
- Under Incident Number Format, select XXXXXXX.

Click Save.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box closes automatically.

Close FH CAD Monitor.
If you reopened FH CAD Monitor and repeated steps 1–2, under Incident Number Format, YY-XXXXXXX is selected again.
When creating a code conversion, if you selected Evaluate CAD Value using regular expressions with the steps below, the selection was not saved.

At the bottom of the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor dialog box, click Options.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box appears.
- Click the Filters & Data tab.

Under Code Conversions, click Code Conversions.
The Code Conversions dialog box appears.

Near the bottom of the dialog box, select Evaluate CAD Value using regular expressions, and then click OK.
The Code Conversions dialog box closes automatically.

In the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box, click Save.

Close FH CAD Monitor.
If you reopened FH CAD Monitor and repeated steps 1–3, Evaluate CAD Value using regular expressions is not selected.
When creating a code conversion between a CAD value and an FH city lookup code, if you selected an FH lookup code that was longer than 15 characters with the steps below, only the first 15 characters of the lookup code were used, and resulting conversions were incorrect.

At the bottom of the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor dialog box, click Options.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box appears.
- Click the Filters & Data tab.

Under Code Conversions, click Code Conversions.
The Code Conversions dialog box appears.
- From Show Code Conversions for Lookup Category, choose City.

Click Add.
A cell in the CAD Value column highlights.
- Enter a CAD value as normal, and then press the TAB key to move to the Converts to FH Code column.

In the highlighted cell in the Converts to FH Code column, type the FH lookup code for the city name, or click the lookup button to the right of the highlighted cell in the Converts to FH Code column and then select the lookup code for the city name.
If the lookup code exceeds 15 characters, the code is truncated and only the first 15 characters are used for the conversion.

Click OK.
The Code Conversions dialog box closes automatically.

In the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box, click Save.
The following enhancements were implemented this release.
For staff activity fields, a Station field has been added for mapping the FH station field to a CAD data element.
To find the new feature in the user interface, do the following.

At the bottom of the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor dialog box, click Options.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box appears.
- Click the Filters & Data tab.

Under Field Mapping, click Field Mapping.
The Field Mapping dialog box appears.

From Show Field Mappings for Table, choose Staff Activity.
The list of fields in the dialog box updates. The Station field now appears in the list, and you can enter a value in the field.
For the Integraph CAD system, you can now create a linked EMS report when an incident record is imported, without specifying a line starting with EMS
in the text file.
To find the new feature in the user interface, do the following.

At the bottom of the FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor dialog box, click Options.
The FIREHOUSE Software CAD Monitor Options dialog box appears, displaying the General tab and, under CAD Polling and Record Selection, the Process sub-tab.
- On the Process sub-tab, select EMS Incident Report.

Click the System2 tab.
Under Force Creation of EMS Record, the Create EMS Record From Fire Incident Data field appears. If you select this field and click Save, an EMS record is created when an incident record is imported during FH CAD Monitor processing.
