Understand the interface
The FH Analytics interface is organized into several discrete components.
The FH Analytics user interface organizes your access to the data in the FIREHOUSE Software database through the use of tabs and sub-tabs across the top of the interface.
A green circle appears on a tab if there is data available for the filtering selections on that tab.
Data in the FIREHOUSE Software database for a single day. In the past, you had to generate multiple reports to get to the same results.
Data over a specific period of time, and displays meters that indicate whether or not you are meeting compliance requirements. In the past, you had to generate multiple reports to get to the same results.
Incident data, including:
- Counts—incidents by hour, shift, station, type, fire versus EMS incidents, day versus night incidents, trends, authorizations, and more
- Times—travel times and service times, by alarm type, day of week, hour, shift, and station
- Year over Year—Trends, call processing, travel, and turnout times, and incidents by month
- Loss—trends, and saved versus loss
Unit data, including the alarm type, time of alarm, and stations and shifts responding, and type of unit.
Emergency medical service data, including:
- Incidents—patient counts, percentages, destination, demographics, disposition, and provider impressions
- Patients—destination, demographics, disposition, and provider impressions
- Assessments—procedure counts, medication counts, staff, and procedures
Occupancy data, including:
- Occupancies—inspection district, property use, class, structure type, detectors, AES presence, preplans, and more
- Inspections—inspection type, inspector, district, station, unit, and shift
Staff data, including:
- Activities—total hours, day of week, activity codes, daily staff activity, and staff activity details
- Training—course hours, staff training, and single staff training
- Certifications—current certifications, expired certifications, certifications to expire in 60 days, certifications by staff, and certifications details
- Staff—staff activity journal summary
Staff data, including hydrant class, main size, activity information, station, hydrant district, fire department ID, and hydrant details.
Staff data, including a list of inventory items, maintenance information, usage details, inspection data, and activity levels.
Specify where the location of the FIREHOUSE Software database, the name of the database if necessary, the start and end of the fire department's work day, the types of units at the fire department, change the display of tabs and colors on the interface, and more.
