Refresh your data or re-open FH Analytics

Data may be changing in your FIREHOUSE Software database while you work with FH Analytics, as other members of your fire department may be entering incident data, occupancy data, hydrant data, and so forth. Because FH Analytics is an in-memory analysis technology, you should periodically refresh the data you are analyzing in FH Analytics with the data from your FIREHOUSE Software database, to ensure the most accurate data analysis.

1. Choose File → Refresh Data.

   The Script Execution Progress dialog box appears.

   

   If you are using FH Enterprise or FH Web, the SQL Server Login dialog box also appears, to confirm your connection to the SQL server hosting your FIREHOUSE Software database.

   

   Note: If your session of FH Analytics appears to be taking more than several minutes to refresh the data, you can choose File → Reopen FH Analytics to restart the application and force a refresh of the data.

2. (If the SQL Server Login dialog box appears) Review the login information in the dialog box, change it if necessary, and then click OK.

   The data refreshes.
