7.12.17 Release Notes
These Release Notes are for Firehouse® release 7.12.17, and provide a listing of the defects resolved during this release. The changes listed in the Release Notes apply to both FH® Standard and Enterprise editions.
Tip: You may want to also consult the Release Notes for 7.12.15 for a list of defects resolved and enhancements implemented during the previous release. These Release Notes are available as a PDF file at http://www.firehousesoftware.com/pdf/FH_7_12_15_Release_Notes.pdf.
Note: For optimum results, Firehouse recommends that FH Enterprise client computers and FH Standard computers be updated to .NET Framework 3.5.
The following issues were successfully resolved this release.
If you tried to enter property loss or content loss data in incident records from 2011 with the steps below, NFIRS 2012 validation rules were used and the data or export would not validate. As a result, the incident is marked as incomplete, and the record would not save.

Open an incident from 2011 as usual.
The NFIRS Incident Report dialog box appears.
- Click the Response tab.

Under Estimated Dollar Loss & Value, do one or both of the following.
- In the Property column, in the Loss field, enter a value.
- In the Contents column, in the Loss field, enter a value.
- Click Save.
If you tried to export NFIRS incident records from 2011 with the steps below, NFIRS 2012 validation rules were used and the export would not validate the 2011 records. As a result, the incident is marked as incomplete, and the export would not complete.

Choose File → NFIRS 5 Incident Reporting → Export NFIRS 5 Transaction File.
The NFIRS 5.0 Export Wizard dialog box appears.
- Follow the prompts as usual in the export wizard.
If you changed an incident number or EMS number to the same as an existing incident number or EMS number with the steps below, no error message would appear and duplicate incident number or EMS number occurred.
Incident record:

In the FH toolar, click Incident.
The NFIRS Incident Report dialog box appears.

Click Browse.
The Query dialog box appears.

Select the NFIRS incident record you want to renumber, and then click OK.
The NFIRS Incident Report dialog box populates with information.

In the menu bar, choose Form → Renumber NFIRS Incident Report.
The Renumber NFIRS Incident Reports dialog box appears.
- In the highlighted field, enter an existing incident number.
- Click OK.
EMS record:

In the FH toolar, click EMS.
The EMS/Search & Rescue Report dialog box appears.

Click Browse.
The Query dialog box appears.

Select the EMS record you want to renumber, and then click OK.
The EMS/Search & Rescue Report dialog box populates with information.

In the menu bar, choose Form → Renumber EMS/Search & Rescue Report.
The Renumber EMS/Search & Rescue Incident Reports dialog box appears.
- In New Incident No., enter an existing incident number.
- Click OK.
