Correct authorization dates

  1. In the Query dialog box, select the record with an invalid date, and then click OK.

    The NFIRS Incident Report dialog box populates with information about that incident.

  2. Click the Other tab.

  3. Under Report Authorizations, scroll to the right until you can see the Date column.
  4. Select the record with the invalid date in the list, and then click Edit.

    The Report Authorization dialog box appears.

  5. In Date, correct the entry.
  6. Click Save, and then click Close.
  7. In the NFIRS Incident Report dialog box, click Save.
  8. Continue with Check for invalid dates in NFIRS incident records.
